The Extension

Of all the rooms in your home it is the kitchen that will give the greatest first impression to your visitors. To buyers it’s the voice of the house. Over time our culture has promoted its value. Modern day living demands a kitchen not only offer the traditional cooking environment but also incorporate more dining and living space.

From the moment your project commences our building team and project managers will be dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of work and offering the best advice. We do everything we can to make the experience as least disruptive as possible. If the property doesn’t provide side access then floor and wall protection will be laid throughout the hallway and existing kitchen. It is typical that the extension is constructed and made water tight prior to actually breaking through to the main house. This often allows the original kitchen to stay functioning right up until the final weeks of the build.

When the kitchen is finally de-commissioned we are able to set up a temporary kitchen in the rear living room. It is rear that a client needs to move out of the property whilst having a kitchen extension. Particular attention is paid towards the end of the job ensuring any outstanding snagging is finalized and ready for the project to sign off and engage into the final stage (see Plus Rooms Kitchens).
