Bringing a dated and congested property into the 21st century with a clean contemporary open plan living space.
This particular Victorian terrace property located in London W14 required extra attention in order to fulfill the client’s requirements. We were told to demolish the existing rear extension and build across the full width of the property into the side return. Removing all ground floor level walls to produce a contemporary, open plan, bright and versatile living area. Further more to build and create a new second storey bathroom over the rear addition.
We were able to offer creative and unique suggestions to develop the clients design brief into a project that delivered that WOW factor. The contemporary slim profile glass pitched roof, really gives the project a distinctive focal point. In order to have no internal structural wall’s on the ground floor, large amount of steel was required to provide adequate support. These were cleverly concealed to heighten the perception of open free flowing space. The full width folding doors at the rear of the property follows the contemporary theme. It allows ample amounts of natural light into the full length of the property. The bathroom constructed above the rear addition, from an external view has been finished to match in with the existing brickwork, to maintain the character and consistency of the property.
The white kitchen units and paintwork all adds to the fresh, open planned and modern character Plus rooms were able to create, fulfilling the clients requirements.
